Taquitos Mexicanos


  • 2 cups shredded beef
  • 12 Don Pancho corn tortillas
  • Oil for deep-frying
  • Guacamole
  • Sour cream (optional)


  1. Divide beef into 12 portions.
  2. Warm tortillas, spread strips of beef across a tortilla.
  3. Roll up tightly to form taquito, fasten with toothpick.
  4. Repeat process with remaining tortillas.
  5. Heat oil in deep skillet and fry several taquitos at a time, turning until crisp.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  7. Remove toothpicks, serve warm with guacamole or sour cream dip.
